Spread the word Saturday
1. Consumption Water: 2 5-min shower, drank 5 bottles of water, flushed toilet, washed hands, etc Food: Breakfast:oatmeal, lunch: banh mi, dinner: oatmeal Electricity: phone, computer, train Gasoline:took the bus to and from saturday studios Money: spent 6 dollars on lunch 2. Reduction I wasn’t that hungry today to begin with, so I didnt eat as much as I would on a regular day. I didn’t get on the comp that much, was pretty much doing something that doesnt require electricity. My water usage was fairly low today, though i drank a lot. Overall, I stayed away from using resources unnecessarily. 3. Sustainability After a week of being so conscious about using our resources carefully, i think its pretty sustainable for us to make changes to our daily routines. Since i’m now more conscious of what i do, my friends also conscious of my actions. Hopefully people will start to think before they do. 4. Following I have to say that we did a good job as a whole on this project. Everyone seemed to reflecting upon their actions, and have taken consideration in what they actually do on a daily basis. Let’s keep these good habits and spread the word.
Foodless Friday
1. Consumption Water: 2 5-min shower, drank 3 bottles of water, laundry, flushed toilet, washed hands, etc Food: No breakfast, Lunch- ham n cheese, dinner- burger and some chicken Electricity: phone, computer, train Gasoline:took the buss to and from school Money: around 5 bucks on the burger 2. Reduction i reduced my food consumption, primarily because i wasnt that hungry by the end of the day. I also reduced my water consumption, I wasn’t as thirsty as other days. 3. Sustainability Now, I’m more conscious about how much time i spend in my morning shower, especially when it’s so soothing to the point i fall asleep LOL. After the water audit, I could definitely continue to reduce my water usage, since it’s quite depressing to see those numbers. 4. Following I must say it’s hard to resist myself from eating. Even when im not hungry, there are times when i just want to munch on something for the heck of it. Though i dont eat that much per day anyways, so it might not be a good idea to eat less and starve myself.
